“Star light, star bright First star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might Not be such a weirdo tonight.”
“Universe, it’s me again, Isabella...I know I’m different. I can see and feel things that other people can’t…if you could see through my eyes you’d be amazed. My mother hopes my intuition is just a passing phase, but it’s getting stronger every day. So far, my life’s been a complete disaster with no friends. I’ve been tormented, judged, and ditched my whole life—until we moved to the island. Now everything’s changed. Finally, I met my first real friend. He’s cute, funny and surprisingly…hot. If he finds out who I really am, he’ll run like all the others. Things were looking up until I made one mistake. Now I’m on a collision course with bullies, killers and ghosts, and I’m in trouble…deep trouble!” Once in a great while, we read an incredible story about a hero…a modern day sleuth who is truly “adorkable.”
