About the Author

Jim taught high school English for 33 years in New York. He retired in 2000.

He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2006 and had a stem cell transplant in 2009. Much of this book was started 13 years ago but never was completed.

A native New Yorker, Jim now resides in Florida which affords him the opportunity to be outside, to play golf and to walk the beaches. Other hobbies include doing stained glass, photography and theater. Jim also works with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society as a first connect person. This is his first book.
