HOPE: WORDS FROM THE HEART

If I may quote the sayings “Love makes the world go round”, “love is all you need” Love is something that each of us has felt and hopefully experienced at some time in our lives. There are many ways to express ones love and poetry is simply one avenue. Please join me in a quest for love as I delve into my soul. Cross the bridge where love begins and where love dies, feel the pain as love is not returned, as a heart in love is buried within a lonely tomb, to grieve for the one thing that it needs to live, love. Wander through the shadows, waiting for love, and feel the sadness as love and those that you love, die. Life is a journey and without love it is a lonely path. My poem, crossing the bridge of sighs, is a montage of feelings of love and love lost, which seems to be my theme, as we, as individuals experience repeatedly throughout our lives as we attempt to find our Mr. or Mrs. Right. It shows the emotions, yearning, and sorrow that love instills. Enjoy these excerpts from my poem: Crossing the bridge of sighs, with love still on our lips, my every breath whispers your name, my soul cries out for you again and again…… My heart, impaled by love that will not set me free, below the bridge in loneliness I crawl like a serpent towards your heart, at you’re feet I lie, for one little kiss and three words…… for your love I die.
