ABOUT THE AUTHOR During his higher education and work years, Gary lived in several locations in the northeast U.S. Now he is back in his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. An avid sailor and fisherman, he has owned several dozen boats, and chartered in several dozen bodies of water in the northeast to southeast U.S. Growing up a “bay rat”, Gary heard more than a few yarns and stretched a few more of his own. If you are wondering, no, he is not the Gary Larson of “Far Side” fame, but would gladly receive that Gary Larson’s royalties. ABOUT THE SKETCHER Jesse Larson still hasn’t found what he’s looking for. But along the way, he’s enjoyed living around the U.S. and the world. He is passionate about cultures, music, nature, art, history, and water. He dabbles in various art forms, but is often more of an appreciator than a creator.
