I also had an early appetite for business as my siblings paid me to cook for them, because our parents were busy at our small cafe that we owned. It was totally a win-win situation for me. Sometimes after school, I helped my parents cook at our cafe. This fueled my passion for cooking great food with deep cultural roots which became my inspiration to blog and write my second cookbook. My cooking skills were truly refined after attending several cooking classes at the Bosh Cooking School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now I use the skills to make everyday soul food more exciting and vibrant. I believe you can do this too!
