Marla Lafayette is an author, devoted mother and wife. She attended Alabama A&M University for undergraduate studies, and later received her Master’s in Community Psychology. At a very young age, Marla realized that she loved reading and writing stories as a hobby. By having young children, Marla found it very difficult to find books that her kids could relate to, so she took it upon herself to create children’s books based on her childhood, and humorous personalities displayed by her children. With a passion for reading and education, she hopes that her books not only restore the desire to read in young children, but also to help children learn morals and values in life.
