Born in Peshkopi (Albania), April 3, 1944. Graduated State University, Tirana, major English, in 1966 and worked 4 years teacher of English. In October 1968 married Alije Zhulali, to whom he dedicates this book. In the years 1971-1987 worked in the Foreign Ministry in Tirana, Albania, as well as diplomat in Sweden. In the years 1988-1991 and 1992-1997 director of foreign relations departments respectively of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education. In early 1990’s supported the democratic movement in Albania.
After the dramatic events in the country in 1997, for strong health reasons of his wife, they were forced to flee to Greece to secure the necessary health support. In the year 2000 they came to America for the same reasons. On March 17, 2003, his wife, Alije, passed away, after a ten-years long fight with an incurable disease.
He lives in Philadelphia with his two daughters, two grandsons and his son-in-law. In 2005-2006 attended Arcadia University and received “Master’s Degree” in education. Now teaches English language and literature for the School District of Philadelphia.
In summer of 2008 published his poetry book “Forever with You” in Albanian language, which was received with great enthusiasm and high considerations in the media, both in Albania and abroad, including America.
