Baby Boomers Turn 70 The New 5-OH! is the sequel to Bloomin’ Boomers aka Baby Boomer Stories which was published in 2014. Now here it is 2020! Baby Boomers are celebrating their 70th birthdays and couldn’t believe what was happening. The Corona virus hit, quarantine, social distancing and wearing masks. Then all over the world hell broke loose! Remembering Gil Scott Heron of the Last Poets, his song, “The Revolution Will Not Be” televised, but THE REVOLUTION WAS!

After the murder of a well loved 46 year old black man, George Floyd, at the knee of white police office Chavin and “I Can’t Breathe” for over 10 weeks the BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT and the RAINBOW CHILDREN, MEN & WOMEN led peaceful protests in da streets along with rampant looting and burning of building, including police stations, grocery stores and businesses. Protesters, danced, prayed and preached in da streets carrying BURN, BABY, BURN, I CAN’T BREATHE and NO PEACE, NO JUSTICE signs! Baby Boomers were reliving the civil rights movement of the 60’s but in another way along with the virus, aging, and global warming. An EVOLUTION was happening all over the world, including the great United States of America and nothing would ever be the same again. They remembered the dismantling of BLACK WALL STREET in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the bombing of black American citizens by the United States government with the help of ANGRY WHITE citizens.
