Book Details

I never stood alone. Jesus was always with me.

Ray was a child beaten and bruised, smacked and tortured, starved and abused. The beatings didn't stop, but when and how. Time went by and the beatings got worse. All the yelling and the curse, curse, curse. Sad and lonely until a friend said, "Your dad almost has you dead." With the help of this friend Ray got brave and suddenly went into a rage. His dad went down with a fist to the face. He fell down with big disgrace. He got up with a big surprise. He couldn't believe his own eyes. Ray had enough and John knew he was so very tough. Finally all the abuse came to an end. Ray was never beat on again. Time went on and God moved in then Ray's life was never the same again!" This poem was written by Ray's fourteen year old daughter after reading this book."

About the Author

Ray Baily

Ray Baily is not a writer. He is just someone trying to get over his past through writing. They say the pin is mightier than the sword. But Ray is not looking to get revenge. He wants the stories of his life to help people who went through child abuse. Most importantly he would like to end child abuse. If this book helps one child to not get abused it has done its purpose.
