Sandrew Montgomery, “The Original Personal Sommelier”, has been a wine professional since 1977 and began teaching about wine in 1982. A California wine historian, Mr. Montgomery has been instrumentally involved in the early stages or launches of many historic wineries including Caymus, Opus One, Shafer, Matanzas Creek, Rubicon, Dominus Estate, the Hess Collection, Marimar Torres, Mazzocco, Gloria Ferrer, and Kendall-Jackson. He helped introduced Chateau Montelena’s and Far Niente’s Cabernet programs and helped market several others into prominence. Sandrew works in Napa and resides in Sonoma, continuing to conduct unique wine and food pairing experiences.
