Introduction
What is the time-line to the day of the Lord?
There are four doctrines: Pre-trib, a resurrection happens before the 7 years. Post-trib says the Lord gathers us when the two witnesses rise (Correct) but say it is at the end of the 7 years. Mid-trib says the resurrection is at day 1,335 (Correct) but say the Lord returns with believers at the end of the 7 years. The time-line contained herein is a first half tribulation and rapture at day 1,335. Post-trib 3 ½ years.
You can tell Pre-trib: “Revelation 20:4-6 “This is the first resurrection. The rest of the dead do not come to life until the 1,000 years are complete.” There is only one resurrection. The elect in Matthew 24 are in the first resurrection with the two witnesses.” Even still, they will say “I want to teach a pre-trib rapture.” Let them.
Post-trib 7 years say the same thing; “I want to teach 7 years.” Let them.
Ask a Post-trib teacher “What is day 1,335 in Daniel 12:12?” They will say “I don’t know.” Ask them what “The days are cut” means. They will say “I don’t know.” Tell them the book The Hebrew Gospel of Matthew (1995) by the late George Howard has Matthew 24:22 say “The days are few” revealing a short time-line. Still they will say “I want to teach 7 years.” Let them.
Top bible scholars agree, according to the authenticated manuscripts, Post-trib 3 ½ is the true time-line of the day Jesus returns.
