In coming to the place of broken-ness, where this” Prodigal’s son” finally realized that he would either destroy himself by the lusts of his flesh or turn his eye’s back to the Savior (yes BACK to the SAVIOR), I had to loose everything. Loosing everything is defined as my relationship with God, my wife to suicide, my family, my friends, my prosperity and life savings, my professional career, my peace, my strength and my joy.



Yes indeed … I had to loose everything in order to find the one and only thing that matters for the addict … my FREEDOM from addiction. That freedom came when I finally surrendered my ability to do anything to change my circumstances, realizing I was powerless and submitting by faith to the power of the living God, through the blood of Jesus Christ.
