About the Author

Ramin Elahi

Ramin Elahi has been an educator, trainer, and coach for most of his career, which spans twenty-plus years. His early years as a support, escalation, and application engineer prepared him technically so his networking, data center, and cloud storage architecture classes and seminars are filled with leading edge technology concepts and trends. He has been passionate about learning and development using any delivery modalities from ILT (Instructor Led Training) to virtual. He augments course technical content with customer service experience, real-life lessons learned, and industry best practices. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and Florida Institute of Technology, respectively, and earned his executive MBA from St. Mary’s College of California. He is currently the sales training portfolio manager at Infineon Technologies and an adjunct faculty instructor at the University of California Santa Cruz extension. He lives with his wife and two daughters in San Jose, California.
