A Humorous Collection of Poetry With Something For Everyone!
If Life were a Hollywood movie
With myself both director and star,
Every time I cried, "Action!,"
I'd achieve satisfaction
Making the best motion picture by far!
What would you do if you got to be the director of your own movie? Or if instead of having the golden touch you had the hotdog touch? Those are just two of the many situations in which the young characters find themselves in this brand new collection of poems by Bill Schoff, author of two previous poetry books, "I'm Not Feeling Like Myself Today" and "Something Strange." This collection of poems provides something for everyone! Do you like things a little creepy? Then meet Hugo Hartwig and enter his infamous house of horrors - if you dare! Or imagine yourself coming face-to-face with a dragon in its lair or being surrounded by a horde of zombies! But if poems about food are more to your taste, then Pastry Pleasures and Hot Fudge Sunday might hit the spot! Whatever your pleasure, the humorous poems in "If Life Were A Hollywood Movie" are sure to please. The variety of poems will delight adults and children alike with their zany characters, illustrations, and clever word play.
