Nina Humphrey was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and currently resides in Missouri. She has worked in education for over 20 years having obtained her Master of Education Degree, Educational Specialist Degree, and is also a Certified Reading Specialist. As a current Academic Instructional Coach and a former first grade teacher, she has seen the many different emotions children experience on their first day of school. She has experience nurturing, providing guidance, and encouraging those children who exhibited anxiety when starting a new school. She’s a wife, the mother of three adult children, and the grandmother of five. Nina is looking forward to start a new chapter in her life and is excited at the prospect of writing a collection of children’s books.
