Many years ago, 17-year-old Carol Joy left the big city of Cleveland, Ohio, and traveled 24 hours by train and bus to attend college in a sleepy little town in South Georgia. Her life changed forever when she fell in love with a fellow student and became a Southerner by choice. Living in an Atlanta suburb, she now has four children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grands.
