A thirteen-year-old girl, Sam, goes to camp for the first time with her friend, May. May has been going to the camp for many years and looks forward to it every summer. She attended a camp every summer while she was growing up and it inspired her to write 13 at Camp Somerset. Kimberly majored in writing at James Madison University and spends much of her spare time writing.
