About the Author

Asif Anwar

Dr. Asif Anwar, M.D, M.S, F.C.C.P graduated from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago IL, in 1997. Later he proceeded with his Internal Medicine residency training, at University of New Jersey (UMD-NJ) and Saint Louis University, Missouri. He completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from SLUH in 2008. He has been affiliated with the US Air force since 2005 and currently holds the rank of Major and is associated with the Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT), and as a Flight Surgeon with the Wisconsin Air National Guard. He is board certified and a Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians. He is Clinical Assistant Professor, at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
