Our first (and quite possibly, most exciting) stop is London, England, home to the annual London Book Fair...

Because this event is recognized as one of the most important spring publishing fairs, you have many capitalizing opportunities for exposing your book to key industry contacts like acquisitions agents, editors, and translation rights agents.

BOOK EXPO OF AMERICA (BEA)

All aboard! The next stop is the USA, home to the annual Book Expo of America event. The event has taken place in different locations, major cities throughout the states, although New York is the most consistent host in recent years.

Every year the BEA welcomes over 100,000 international attendees, authors, publishers, agents, and buyers. While the attendance is international, the focus is distinctly American, with American books, publishers, and authors receiving the main interest.

BEIJING INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR

Next Stop... Beijing, China...

No other country has experienced the increase that China has on the world marketplace, and the readership in China represents an enormous opportunity (and gap that needs to be filled) for translations and publishers seeking to feed the frenzy. There is surging consumer demand for all types of books.

FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR

Our final destination -- Frankfurt, Germany, home to the Frankfurt International Book Fair.

Each year, nearly 10,000 publishing professional and industry insiders converge on this event, which hosts over 50% more international publishers than BEA.

During all of these events, your book will receive valuable, face-out exposure on an exclusive shelf with 4-7 other Outskirts Press titles (depending on the various sizes of the books) and a representative will be on-hand to personally answer questions about your book. Outskirts Press will provide the necessary copies of the book and all the necessary contact information for both the author and publisher, so interested parties can make further contact, during or after the fair. All inquiries Outskirts Press receives about your book will be forwarded directly to you for personal follow-up.
