New York Times Co-Op Advertising Agreement
1. Author understands that they are purchasing a portion of a single-edition advertisement Outskirts Press is paying to have placed within the pages of the New York Times Book Review. Said advertisement can vary in size and color although is typically a full page, black/white advertisement. Author's co-op portion is typically approximately 2" x 2" and in no cases will ever be less than 1.5" x 1.5" in total size.
2. Author understands they have no control over the placement of the ad within the pages of the New York Times or the placement of their portion within the content of the advertisement.
3. Said portion will contain an image of the book's front cover, and may or may not also contain the title, byline, ISBN and price. Depending upon space and design, a shortened description/blurb may or may not also be included. Author understands that due to space restrictions, the description for the book will be composed by Outskirts Press at our sole discretion based upon material and information within the Author's Center. At the discretion of Outskirts Press, each co-op portion may or may not also contain the URL for the author's OP Webpage.
4. Co-Op ads are placed on a first-come, first-served basis in the order in which they are ordered.
5. New York Times Co-Op fees become non-refundable once the ad featuring their book has been designed by our designer.
