Book Details

The life of an extraordinary woman, as seen through the eyes of her husband.

Beginning her life in abuse and shame, Annie overcame tremendous obstacles in pursuit of her dreams, ultimately living a courageous, self-sacrificing existence of loving and giving.

This is her story..........

Imagine a woman who was abused as a child, suffered from learning disabilities, was required to repeat first grade, which meant going through school in the same class with a younger, more accomplished, sister.

Undaunted, she completed a rigorous college program that produced a bachelor’s degree and registered nursing credential.

Later, she endured three months of total bed rest during her fourth pregnancy, ultimately delivering the premature baby by emergency Caesarean.

Selflessly, she also adopted two Korean orphans, worked for twenty years full time as a school nurse, then traveled alone in the South Pacific for four months volunteering in school and public health programs.

Adding to her accomplishments, she found time to travel extensively throughout much of the world and became a part time travel agent.

Even after a bout with cancer, her courage was exhibited throughout her life by unwillingness to accept defeat and her undying faith in her ability to succeed.
