Gary Joseph LeBlanc, is the author of “Staying Afloat in a Sea of Forgetfulness,” “Managing Alzheimer’s and Dementia Behaviors” and co-author of “While I Still Can.” Also, a weekly columnist of “Common Sense Caregiving” published in the Tampa Tribune and Hernando Today and many other health publications. ------ Holly Beth Michaels, works as a journalist for “The Madisonian” in John Wayne’s hometown of Winterset in south central Iowa. Formerly, she spent almost ten years as a Florida Hospice Caregiver, but took a detour to return to her beloved Midwest. She also cared for both of her elderly parents, fulfilling her promise that they would die at home.
