Dining Room Murders is the story of a private investigator investigating into the suspicious simultaneous deaths of his mother and her friend, who were residents of the Rest Place, a retirement home in Boulder, Colorado, and his determination to find the source of the morphine overdose that caused their deaths.

Stanley Yokell

Stanley Yokell is a retired Professional Engineer and engineering consultant who lives in Boulder, Colorado. He has led a full life of outdoor activities and remains physically active. He wrote, and McGraw-Hill published, three technical books of which he is the sole or lead author. He has written many articles published in technical journals and magazines. His non-technical books cover a wide range of subjects that include his service on a Landing Tank Ship (LST), his solo cross-country bicycle ride on a ten-speed bicycle. A philosophical book a about the possibility of a world-wide secularist revolution, two books of short stories, a book of American Haiku, and several murder mysteries. His most recent book is a memoir of his and his family’s relationship with the Adirondack Park village of Elizabethtown, New York, where his wife grew up.
