About the Author

Richard David Rosenblatt and George Michael Crall

George Crall was born in San Francisco, on July 9, 1923. He attended Antioch College before entering the Army in World War II, where he served in the 314th Engineers, 89th Infantry Division. In 1945 he entered West Point and was graduated in the Class of 1949. After graduation from West Point, he was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and served on active duty from 1950 to 1953. He retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Colonel. He is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the United States Naval War College. He was Vice President of Design and Construction for ITT-Sheraton Hotels. He was President of C F Braun Constructors, a worldwide engineering and construction firm. He has managed the construction of major industrial projects in Africa, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran. Mr. Crall is Senior Vice President of Crall Constructors Inc. He lives with his wife, Muriel, in Newport Beach, California.

Richard Rosenblatt was born in New York City on June 18, 1926. He served in the Air Force during World War II. In 1945 he entered West Point and was graduated in the Class of 1949. He attended the Ground General School at Fort Riley, Kansas and completed Air Force Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base. He served as a pilot in Germany, France and Morocco, and was in the OSI as a linguist and analyst in German, French, Spanish and Russian. Transferring to the USAF Reserve, he founded Atwood Richards Inc. It became the largest advertising media company in the US in 1968 when it merged with Chemway, NYSE, where he became a Director. He was an Underwriting Member of Lloyd’s for 20 years; and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Superscope/Marantz, NYSE. He was Publisher of Ranch & Coast Magazine. In 2006 he won four gold medals in the San Diego Senior Olympics. He lives with his wife, Lois, in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
