More than a collection of poetry, This is therapy, A real conversation starter.

This is a journey, combining poetry with therapy from the creative mind of Pencasso.

An artist whom paints pictures with words, places artistic beauty in his verses with hopes to heal in his stanzas. Writing with purpose, masterfully transforming his manuscript into cursive, he displays his interior design on the surface for all to see. Witness his beautiful pain, as with each page he hopes that parts of him assist you in finding your way. Filled with jotted down pains, internal battles with mental health, heartbreaks, love and other drugs. He presents his own insecurities, and perfect imperfections as a template for healing.

To you the reader, my support system I can now truly say that I am an open book!

My mind’s enslaved on page after page of a notebook. The role of my pen is that of the chef, cooking up the sociological ingredients of my perspectives. “The crimes of being black” and “The hearts uncertainties.” This is simply my outlook however, I am no longer afraid of being ridiculed. I have found purpose in giving all of me to you.

I serve as the voice for the voiceless, penning hopeless love letters that may never reach their destinations. My pen is my life and with it, I give a breath of fresh air, this is my escape from reality.

Using it, I execute the 1st amendment right. God gave me a talent and I willingly share it with you. In hopes of opening the lines of communication for conversations. CREATIVITY is my outlet, my therapy, a coping mechanism for stress.

I proudly present to you ME in the form of a poetic journey in “The Diaries of Pencasso.”
