About the Author and Illustrator: Cynthia Scott Griffin has been working as a school psychologist for over twenty years in a suburb north of Detroit, Michigan. She is married, with two grown children, and enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Murphy. Megan Dodge Sergi is a graduate of Detroit's College for Creative Studies and currently works as a freelance illustrator. She is a wife and the mother of two young children.
