Book Details

How vulnerable are you, and why?

I have decided that, due to childhood neglect and what God allowed to happen to me, my life experience was purposeful. To whit, I have written my story and hopefully have shined a light on parental rearing and, if any younger readers can identify with my story, will encourage them to look for early counseling and/or mentoring. Don’t live with or accept an addiction like I did.

About the Author

Jay Sorwin

What amazed me is how just a few words of explanation and insight from counselors made immediate sense to me. It seemed to me to be just simple, common sense. Then too, books by Neil T. Anderson were most helpful. My life began on a farm in northwest Iowa. As I think back to those days, it would seem to me that I was a very lonely child. Yet, I don’t remember feeling that at all. I have said this years before and can still say it today: something inside of me is dead, or never nurtured. Today, I am a man in my late seventies, and live alone in a low rent one-bedroom apartment. I follow the news and politics, the Oakland A’s, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. And I am (still) addicted to crossword puzzles!
