Book Details

A place to die-just step inside.

The Children of Fardragon is the first book in THE CHRONICLES OF RIPARIANNE trilogy. The Chronicles themselves were apparently written about 16 to 18 centuries ago and are believed to have been among the first pieces of recorded history from this area. The Children of Fardragon takes place in the Realm of Riparianne and begins with a contest between two women. Each becomes a queen and each becomes the mother of three children. The blonde Lady Crystal married the last of the great High Lords of Fardragon City and presented him with three children in three years: Amber, Thorn, and Emera in birth order. Our would-be second Queen, the raven-haired Adamanda, followed a path to the same throne, but a more difficult and bloody one involving a torrid love affair with the High Lord. When Queen Crystal discovered the High Lord’s infidelity, the Queen was emotionally crushed and the High Lord continued a decline in popularity among his people. Two months later and ninety minutes after sundown, with no warm rays left as witnesses and only the coldest of hearts left to perform the deed, ten men led by a Raven-haired woman entered the High Lord’s section of the castle and left him lying in a pool of blood and tears. The last High Lord was dead. His wife, Queen Crystal, and his children, Amber, Thorn, and Emera, escaped but their troubles had only just begun...
