Tina RuvalcabaPublishing Consultant
I am a mother with 3 kids (2 dogs) and have been married for 15 years to my high school sweetheart. I enjoy baking and cooking for my family. One day I hope to write a children's book series! I already have the character and title picked out, now it's time to write...
I've been a part of Outskirts Press since 2006. Throughout the years I have helped over 2,000 authors achieve their publishing dreams. Prior to becoming a Publishing Consultant, I served as an Author Representative. This gives me a unique combination of skills and experience that allows me to guide my authors in selecting the perfect combination of services to achieve their publishing goals. I've worked with authors with all types of books including fiction, self-help, religious/spiritual, travel, biography/memoir, poetry, business, humor, and juvenile fiction and non-fiction.
Many of my authors have gone on to win awards for their exceptional books. I'm proud to be a part of helping my authors publish their passion every day! I'd love to help you, too. If you have a story to share with the world, let me help you get your publishing process started today.

T. Thomas Ackerman, author of The SafehouseTina always communicated with me in a clear and timely manner. A pleasure to work with. Their product, my book, is excellent. The trailer video is fantastic, well beyond my expectations.
Gary Turcotte, author of Iron StanTina has helped me through all eleven of my books. She is quick to communicate and offers helpfull hints to make my books a better product. Thanks Tina!
Marilyn R. Hill-Sutton, author of The Knight Family LegacyTina Ruvalcaba was excellent! She was steady as a rock no matter what obstacles we faced, and there were some bumps along the way. She returned emails and phone calls promptly, and she was always there to usher me to the next step in the process when necessary. I think Tina is outstanding, and can't envision trying to get through the process with anyone else. Thank you for such quality staff and for Tina's professionalism! I will definitely publish with Outskirtspress in the future.
Ed Moroney, author of First Time Death is Still an AmateurI am very pleased with my interaction and the final product. Ms. Tina was always quickly responsive and kept me advised throughout the complete process. She was attentive, affable and quite the professional. I was quite surprised at how painless and quick the overall process was. If I pursue publishing again I will certainly employ your services again. Thank you
Jon Burcaw, author of The Sidecar KingsYour marketing process towards your authors depends on add-ons. I understand that, but for me, an approximate cost of what i was getting myself into...from the beginning of the submission process through the marketing process would have been helpful. That said, Sara and Tina were as helpful as they could be, considering I was a new author submitting print ready pdf material for the first time. You guys were very patient with me. Thank you again!
G H Eliason, author of The Generations of AntiChristHey hold the presses! Tinamarie is gold. It is a difficult thing to try to transition from the writing phase to this end especially not knowing the first thing about it. It is a scary proposition. Tinamarie was firm with me and pushed in a gentle and professional way in the best direction we could go in. She was almost intuitive in the speed of her response. I actually wondered a few times if she slept at all. In truth if I was a little more prepared and I could have been that would be the only way it could have been a better experience. I had to ask her to define a few terms I was unfamiliar with.
