Emily’s marriage to Brendon Graham, the Senator for the State of Pennsylvania, has always presented challenges of its own; but Emily’s world is turned upside down when her mother-in-law, Kyndall offers her to stay at a home she owns in Charlotte, North Carolina within the Sweetbriar Community. While in Charlotte, North Carolina, Emily gets tangled in the deception of the developers of the community, while trying to deal with the demons of her past, she finds herself on the wrong side of the law.
