250-Word Synopsis:
What happens after the resurrection? Glory Spirit: Apostles Carrying the Story picks up where the Gospels end and the Book of Acts begins. In this powerful retelling, author Jacob R. Klein guides readers through the apostles’ extraordinary journey as they transition from fearful followers into bold proclaimers of the risen Christ. Rooted in scripture and enriched by vibrant storytelling, the book illuminates pivotal moments in the early church: the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Peter’s powerful sermons, the selection of Matthias, the persecution and martyrdom of Stephen, Saul’s miraculous transformation into Paul, and the missionary journeys that spread the Gospel across the Roman Empire.
More than a historical account, Glory Spirit draws modern parallels and spiritual applications, reminding readers that the same Holy Spirit who empowered the apostles continues to call, equip, and send believers today. Klein’s personal faith journey, woven throughout, adds authenticity and urgency to the narrative—especially as he reflects on grief, calling, and the modern Christian walk.
Whether you’re familiar with the Book of Acts or exploring it for the first time, Glory Spirit offers an accessible, inspiring, and deeply reverent take on how the earliest followers of Jesus carried His story forward—and how we are called to do the same.
