Sexual Harassment has become a part of middle school and high school life over the last several decades... Portrayed in books, movies, commercials and music videos as flirting. Regardless of a person’s intent, if his or her actions are unwanted and sexual in nature, it is considered sexual harassment.

Orvie B. Baker, Jr.

Orvie B. Baker, Jr. is a retired combat veteran who spent over a decade in the Army’s Equal Opportunity field. A graduate and former instructor at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) near Cocoa Beach, Florida, he has received and given detailed training in Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response. Mr. Baker has trained Soldiers and Civilians on the Army’s new Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention or SHARP Program which certified Victim Advocates (VA/SHARP) and Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC/SHARP) both stateside and abroad. Mr. Baker is currently a consultant for Equal Opportunity, Human Relations and Positive Leadership initiatives.
