Acclaimed artist, author, lecturer and musical performer, Jeanne Blanchet, was born in Chicago. After graduating from Northwestern University summa cum laude, she earned her M.A. and Ph.D. Following a teaching career at various colleges and universities, she is at home in Arizona, where she has become a well-known writer of historical fiction.
