Book Excerpt

Excerpt from "Another Christmas Miracle", one of ten short stories in Ed Schultz' book "Smiles And Tears - Christmas Stories For Adults". "Bob! Come home quick! I can't find the kids!" Ellen Olinski was frantic. When she returned from the nearby convenience store Nancy and little Tommy, her adopted niece and nephew, were no where to be found. Because of the expected snowstorm, schools had been canceled. Ellen had decided to buy bread, jelly and peanut butter before the storm arrived. When Ellen left to go to the store, Nancy was on the floor looking at her Mom's old photo album and Tommy was watching cartoons on TV. Ellen searched the neighbor-hood but found no trace of the children. After calling her husband, she decided to call the police." This book may be ordered at Outskirts Press or most book stores. They are also available on-line at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and other bookstore web-sites. Ed has also authored three other books. About the Author

Edward G. Schultz

Edward G. Schultz is the author of a new novel, "Elizabeth's Encounters". His earlier epic novel,"Morgan's Mission", was well liked and received excellent reviews. It was cited in an article in the Springfield, Mass-achusetts "Republican" newspaper. In his new book Schultz has written another romance-historic novel. It tells the story of a young, attractive mother who's husband did not return from the Civil War. But she overcomes many obstacles and makes a new life for herself and her children. Ed also displayed his talent for creating short stories, containing both variety and romance. Although these stories are focused on Christmas themes, they can be fully enjoyed at any time of the year. The author's inspiration for some of the stories came from reminiscences of his own youth, but most are conceived from his imagination and his computer. When ordering ask for this book by its sub-title, "Christmas Stories For Adults".
Schultz has also published a book of unusual poetry, "Poems For Those Who Don't Like Poetry". He is presently working on a children's book.
