Discover how Christians can be faithful to the Biblical observance of Christmas, and still allow their children to have the "fun of Santa" in the celebration. Also, learn how to accurately observe Christmas in keeping with the Scriptural narrative.

Most parents (and grandparents too) do not really want to lie to their children about Santa and Christmas, but they are at a loss to know what to do - or how to handle that situation. They want their children to know and appreciate the “real” meaning of Christmas - the birth of God’s Son and our Savior - the way that it is recorded in God’s Word, the Bible. If only the kids could have both: Santa and Jesus (the actual “Reason for the Season,” plus the mythical, childhood fun). Well, they can, and without compromising the true meaning and celebration of Christmas. We should be careful to celebrate Christmas accurately. What do I mean by this? It is that there are some events in the Scriptures that are related to the birth of Christ, but which are not actually a part of it. We need to be careful to NOT INCLUDE those things with the actual birth of Christ on the night that He was born.
