M.C. Lloyd (Marcus Lloyd) has been a poet for years and has brought the poet's word discipline and keen observation skills together in this work about the author's generation. Moving Beyond Woodstock: The Less Than Greatest Generation, is a tongue-in-cheek yet provocative unveiling of the Baby Boomer generation. Through the lens of satire the author exposes these people for whom they are; their history, values, role models, as well as the ideas and institutions they support. As a history buff the author appreciates the writing technique of tying a historical occurrence into a book's present drama and the author is using this tool on his current work, a thriller. Although the two books are vastly different, the author says if you stay with a book it will reveal its own voice and story in time.
