Tim was only ten years old, but the sights and sounds of the animals on the ground and in the sky were way better than any trip to the zoo. Everywhere he looked the colors were so bright and beautiful, and the smells… “I never want to leave!” cried Tim.
Hello, my name is Timothy. All my friends call me Tim. I guess I can't say all my friends, since I only have a few. Most of the people in my school pick on me and call me many different names. My mom says it's because I'm so smart and shy that I get picked on and have a hard time making friends. I live with my mom. I never know my dad. Mom says he left just before I was born. Mom says I need a male role model in my life, and so she signed me up for martial arts. I go twice a week to learn discipline, respect, and a fighting system from China called Kenpo. I just tested and got my orange belt last week. I like going to martial arts school. It's the only exciting thing I ever do. Well, that's until I went to a music concert with Chris...that night changed my whole life forever. But wait. I'm getting ahead of myself.
