There's the level headed, Addie Langley, who seems to always be in the direct path of bodily injury or embarrassment and her sister-in-law, Nettie Cooper, who's nerves are always one thread from being frayed. Mollie walked from the dining room with a filled punch cup in each hand. She moved in front on the group and handed Nettie one of the cups. “Here, something to wet your whistle. You know that whistles are dry because of all the hot air that blows through them?”
“And yes, my queen, you are highest of all whistles,” said Nettie with laughter as she bowed to Mollie.
Mollie continued to her chair, pausing to wiggle her rear end in gesture to Nettie’s comment.
