Our past does not have to dictate our future. Life has imprinted upon everyone a scar. Some are more noticeable than others. We will remember something - the problem, or the solution that came in spite of the problem. The scars remind us everyday that something terrible has happened. Yet they remind us everyday that something wonderful has happened. We are healed!

Integrity is not developed in our hearts when we avoid the difficult. In fact, it can only come to the forefront when tested in the fire. Remember that the three Hebrew children did not see the fourth man until they were placed in the fire! Stephen did not have the vision of Jesus standing at the Father's right hand until the stones began to rain down on him.
