Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Steve Daley has been writing for most of his adult life. The novel is his favorite format, though an avid interest in films diverted his writing for several years. Now he has returned to the format he prefers. SABBATH-rest was inspired by a culmination of personal events in the author's life. Mr. Daley lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Martha.
