Books by D. Kevin May, Ph.D.
Eden is about each one of us… exposed through the spiritual wanderings of the multi-dimensional Daniel, a successful businessman seeking to escape the tragic realities of our post-9/11 world.

Having just completed an extended international business tour, Daniel’s long awaited reward was only a matter of hours away -- a pleasure-filled weekend in paradise. However, his journey took an unexpected detour and headed straight to hell. Turns out, Daniel’s pleasure-filled weekend was precisely that, and so much more.

Eden takes a psychologically raw and often irreverent look at our current state of affairs, while weaving a tantalizing tale filled with seduction, suspense and conflict. Shamefully honest, riotously self-deprecating and seriously intriguing, Eden leads you through Daniel’s vivid world of diverse cultures, faraway places, prophetic perspectives and extraordinary encounters.

If you believe there are no coincidences in life, Eden promises to be a life-changing, even revolutionary experience.

Just keep driving.
Those words have provoked me since awarded my ticket to autonomy at the age of sixteen, an Ohio driver’s license. That entitlement was my escape, the vessel destined to lift me from pain and deliver me to distinction. You see, freedom has always been my unending pursuit and just keep driving my mantra.
At first, in times of trouble and doubt, just keep driving would chauffeur me from conflict on the home front, leverage me from lifestyle standoffs and was the means of dodging fallout from my transgressions. It worked like a charm. Given its success in handling discord, it wasn’t long before just keep driving became my oracle, my song of freedom – the battle cry of my restless, revolutionary spirit
Something extraordinary happened along the way. – I got what I asked for. And you know what they say. Don’t ask for what you want, because you just might get it. So with each new dream fulfilled, my entrapment to just keep driving persists.

About D. Kevin May, Ph.D.

Once a successful and driven businessman, today Kev lives a more adventurous and fulfilling life, while possessing no fear of death; for many reasons. No longer enticed by money or success, he now lives by a simple philosophy – love.

Having escaped to Northern Wisconsin in 2007 to write Eden, Kev now calls De Pere, Wisconsin home – a place where people are real. While lacking many of the amenities of urban life, Les Rapides des Pères (the rapids of the fathers) offers a rare and comforting glimpse into a time when Americans were truly free.

Although usually on the road, when in De Pere, Kev can likely be found pontificating at Montagues Wine Bar and Café.

I’ve discovered a secret along the way. It’s far better to fear God than to fear one’s self.
