The Window

There in the distance of a faraway room
I sit here and wait
I know I will wait a very long time
For my dreams are complex
My vision is vast and spacious
I am far too young to believe in doubt
yet old enough to understand
A dreamer within a world that's asleep
I am Awake within my dream
I may sit at this window a very long time
Waiting for them to change their minds
Waiting for the right code
The vibration of a million singing angels
A song of a million dreamers
waking in the night
To sing the song of peace on earth
I wait here at my window
For the awakening of a beautiful dream
How much longer must I wait at my window

Athena's messages are clear and concise, profound and yet simple. Optimistic and grounded. The whole book serves as a reminder of what we are and who we can be; this is so easily forgettable in the incredible and often overwhelming age in which we live. Athena's book and messages are further embellished by her striking and effective artwork - in this time of mass-produced, production-line mainstream talent, it is refreshing to experience work of such unique voice and vision. This project was inspired by Al Gores urgent documentary an inconvenient truth it is a book of visionary poetry and artwork from the point of view of a child of the universe, the artwork was created with a technique Athena develpoed,useing a digital image and painting using Photoshop software she has developed a new art form that creates art that resembles an oil painting when set to canvas, she calls this technique baby alive digital canvas paintings.
