"HAPPINESS is less about WHAT WE WANT OUT OF LIFE AND MORE about what we don't want. Something that only experience can teach us--and a lesson that's better learned early than late. More than just a well written, extremely entertaining story, DARK LILLY E. is also the ultimate in socially relevant, modern day cautionary tales. Set in the fast paced party 'till you drop environment of the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area: where distractions abound, trouble is rife, and temptation lurks around every corner; DARK LILLY E. tells the story of five young ladies with stars in their eyes, who find that drawing their X's and O's on the blackboard and then going out and executing the game plan are two different things entirely--and never is it easy--as a lot of the things that happen to us in life are totally unexpected, and completely beyond our control. What we can control though, is the manner in which we choose to respond to those circumstances. But, what do you do--when it appears that there's nothing that you can do? Either you can hope, or you can wish, or you can pray. Pray that that which may make you stronger and wiser--doesn't kill you first! DARK LILLY E: it's a lifetime of experience--in the experience of a lifetime!

DARK LILLY E is a fictional account of the positive and negative forces which inhabit both the human soul and the human spirit.
From the sublime beauty of our most heartwarming and radiant thoughts and actions, to the unbelieveable horrors of our most diabolical and evilest deeds and desires.
Moreover, this modern-day tale of Good vs Evil delves deep into the heart of the human condition, through the perspective of its varied and various characters and their many different trials, tribulations, and tests in life.
Especially that most basic of all tests; the test of our human fiber. The test of right versus wrong.
A test which life throws at us everyday, as it conspires to pit the good-- which is in all of us-- against the evil-- which is in all of us-- and then forces us to choose between the two; over and over again.
For Lilly, and the four other members of her all female, 'Reality Rock' band, not only must they overcome the forces of evil which lurk within us all, as they seek fame, fortune, and happiness in life, but they must also try to avoid an evil force which lurks about.
An evil force which lurks about in the form of an oddly sadistic serial killer; one who wishes to feature Lilly, along with all the other members of her band, as the star attractions in his "Murderous Midsummer Musical For The Serial Killer In Us All," premiering in Hell, just as soon as he can send Lilly and all of her bandmates down.
But, what he doesn't know, nor does anyone else, is that one of the members of the band has already been through a living hell, and is now on a 'mission from God', out to rid the world of some of it's evils, by sending a few people to Hell herself.
Throw in a detective with the nose of a Bloodhound and the instincts of a psychic; along with a smooth as silk, crooked attorney, and his drug dealing sidekick; plus a host of other colorful characters; and this tale of drama and intrigue, trumpeting the value of good old fashioned common sense, while praising the Angels of our better nature, and exposing the primitive, mindless beast in us all, for what it really is, told in a literary style that's almost poetic in it's usage of the English language, will have you transfixed: from beginning to end.
DARK LILLY E is a tale of friendships, loyalties, and faith. It's a tale of men and women, and love and hate. It's a story about life; and what we can accomplish-- good and evil-- when we choose to believe in something greater than ourselves.
So, go ahead. Take a peek into the colorful world of DARK LILLY E. and her all female 'Reality Rock' band.
You'll soon discover-- that these aint' yo' daddy's little dreamgirls.

IF YOU LOVE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND THE WRITTEN WORD; AND YOU CRAVE A GREAT STORY WITH LOTS OF QUIRKY AND COLORFUL CHARACTERS-- INTRIGUING PLOT TWISTS-- AND REAL LIFE SUBJECT MATTER... THEN WHAT YOU'LL FIND WITHIN THE PAGES OF THIS BOOK WILL MAKE YOU THINK THAT YOU MUST'VE DIED AND GONE TO 'GOOD BOOK HEAVEN'. DARK LILLY E. THIS IS ONE ANGEL-- WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF DIRT ON HER FACE-- WHOM YOU'RE GUARANTEED TO LOVE.

DARK LILLY E. IS A LINGUISTICAL TOUR DE FORCE THAT'S GUARANTEED TO BLOW YOUR MIND. YOU WILL POSITIVELY O.D. ON IT'S NON-STOP AND EVOCATIVE LIVELINESS. THIS WIT IS DOPE; AND YOU'LL BE HOOKED FROM THE VERY FIRST PAGE. SO, GRAB YOURSELF SOME MUNCHIES, GET TO YOUR FAVORITE READING SPOT, DRAW ALL THE CURTAINS AND HAVE AT IT. THIS STORY WILL TRIP YOU OUT-- AND HAVE YOU WISHING THE TRIP NEVER ENDED.

DARK LILLY E: A FRENETICALLY POETIC, FANTASTICALLY PHONETIC EPIC. ... NEED I SAY MORE.
