As a young man, Johnny Lee Williams Jr. had unresolved anger due to the absence of this father. His father passed away while he was a young boy. Due to this challenge at the age of 19, he became incarcerated for more then half his life. This incident allowed Johnny to grow by a magnitude of positive changes throughout the years. This collection of poetry stems from Johnny's re-evaluation of his life, after being incarcerated. One of his accomplishments while incarcerated, was teaching himself how to read, write, and fluently speak Spanish in various dialects. Some of Johnny's pieces are in both English & Spanish. His pieces have a range of subjects. But the most important subject concerns how all his pain rooted from the absence of his late father.

'Johnny shares his realization that forced him to overcome heartache achieve goals, and nurture his manhood. These poems are perfect examples of how we appreciate life's lessons over time' Chicara J Brassell-'I was inspired when my son handed me this book as a token of his appreciation for a job well-done as a parent' Sandra Williams mother of Author- This is a dedication to my mother for the years of making my growth possible. This is the only thing I have to give as a token of my appreciation' Johnny Lee Williams Jr. Author

"Choices" was written because I reflected on my life and accepted the fact that I could no longer point the finger at anyone but myself. It made me think of my life growing up in the streets, at home, with my peers, and with my sense of ficklessness. I really hurt a lot of people, and I'm sorry for that. I've realized that "the past is the past" and once you accept and take responibility for it, you can move on.

This is the only thing I have to give as a token of my appreciation. His written craft has enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. Mind Analogy is the first in a series of recent pursuits.
