This book is of interest to Vietnam veterans, their wives, and families. It's a poignant story about an anxious, young lieutenant, the experiences of his tour and how those events occurred during the latter days of an unpopular war. The desire to get home alive, increasing racial conflicts, and the growing drug culture all were in play among the troops that supported the men fighting in the field.
