We all have faults and we all do crazy things when we are in love, but what I have discovered is that when it comes to women and relationships men don't stand a chance. It is a constant struggle at times trying to figure out women as well as trying to please them. The more you dog them the more they worship the ground you walk on, while the man who shows the most love and respect gets to sleep by himself at night. Wondering where and how he went wrong, this is my guide on the do's and don't's in a relationship. Also I share the answers to some of the those burning questions: why do we act that way? How do I know if he is really cheating? And what to do and not do when it comes to breaking up in a relationship. This book is of actual events in both my life and others. So allow me to share, educate and entertain you from my perspective about the love, pain and misery relationships and women can bring.

I’ve always wanted love in my life. I wanted the feelings of giving love and being loved in return. I was always told that I moved too fast. While she was just starting to walk up to the plate for a practice swing—I was already rounding third coming for home. I couldn’t help myself. I love the beauty of a woman—the sexual essence—her ambience. Call me cynical, but nothing compares to the intoxicating aroma of a woman when she steps into a room. I’m like a bee drawn to the illuminating nectar of her flower. Just one taste is all I want—is all I need. Call me crazy; call me a hopeless romantic. I don’t care. I love women and I’m sure most men do as well and hell even a few women do as well. We all want the same things: to grow up, fall in love, get married, have kids and live happily ever after—just like in the movies. However, what the movies fail to tell you is that it doesn’t always happen like that. They forget to tell you about all the emotions, lack of communication, cheating, financial woes, and misery that you have to endure along the way.
But why? Why can’t you have it all? Why can’t you have your cake and eat it too? Why must you have the mate but no happiness? I wish I knew the answer. Perhaps through the journey of this book, we can begin to put some of the pieces together. I first want to start out by saying that: I’m no expert-but I have expertly had bad relationships. Because of that, I can share some of my experiences. From my mistakes, maybe you can learn the dos and don’ts of a relationship.
Hell, let’s face it; women and men are complex creatures. A man can have a beautiful woman at home that cooks and cleans and makes love to him every night just the way he likes it and yet he will still find the time and energy to go out and screw some “lonely bus station skank”. You can also have a woman that has a faithful, GOD fearing, loving man, and father that’s totally devoted to her and his family. Yet, she will still treat him as if he is the sorriest piece of shit that ever graced God’s green earth. Why do we do that? Why have we made this simple problem of addition and subtraction into a complex calculus equation? Because we are selfish creatures—that’s why. We live in the microwave and prepaid era. No more romancing—no more communicating.
Our attitude is if he or she won’t—then there’s always someone who will. I was a victim to this mentality. I’ve been the good guy in relationships and I’ve been the bad guy. Some people might love this book; while others might want to send me death threats after they hear some of the shit I used to do. Because of all the shit that I went through in my life, I’m proud to say that I’m a better man and husband. I still don’t understand everything, but my thinking and attitudes have changed in how I approach women and life.
I’ve discovered the 12 things that will ultimately keep you from reaching true bliss with your mate. I am going to share testimonies from both sides of the equation. Even though this is a book about a man’s perspective, I certainly don’t want to neglect all my female readers. Remember, this is one man’s journey through hell and back. This book will make you smile and it’ll make you cry. One thing for sure, it will be very entertaining. So sit back, relax, and allow me to be your personal guide into the mind of a man that knows everything but has discovered he really doesn’t know shit.
