From African Plains to American Ways: New Era Poems. As a child I observed adults and teenagers languishing in agony of hate and mistrust. Ever since then I have not stopped been amazed by the emptiness of human relations. The treatment people receive from fellow human being still remains tantamount to animalism. Perturbed and at times flabbergasted by human ignorance, I see now that nature is gradually dying, cultures heading for extinction and retrenching in alarming rate. Bolstered by all these events and as a student of human condition, I have created this potpourri of poetry book titled: "From African Plains to American Ways:New Era Poems," to highlight the conflicting natural phenomena in the land of the homosapiens for general connsumption. People, look around, and you will discover that world Philosophies are being distorted or obliterated from human imagination on daily basis. Many vises and unnecessary issues providence gave for our happy existence are being chased around, and confusion, chaos, and anarchy are growing and sanity is being clobbered to craziness world over. The stage for public dialogue fashioned on this poetic fit is assured. When the world is melting away under the human weight and wastes, greed, hatred, selfishness, appalling human conditions, exacerbated by victimizers, we mustn't fold our hands and watch and feeling pity for ourselves. We must fight back! This book of New Era Poems brings an aroma of creative debate to divert our ineptitude by romancing our human senses for positive action. This book of poems was written to reprogram the past-gone-crazy lifestyles so prevalent and pervading our order of reasoning. The horrendous events the world is now experiencing are not only demoralizing and hazardously disturbing; the ideas being generated by decaying human morals of present times are alarming. Yet, New Era Poems book is designed to recreate new life full of joy and humor in people's lives. Imagine! This book is broken into three sections of Cultural, Natural and Philosophical Rituals. There are enough creatures of poems in this book woven to go around for any type of mood desires life might dish out any moment for you--the reader: For instance, when you're feeling in high gear in life, reading "Wind and Breeze Colliding In My Shoes." It'd send you feeling like you are skiing in cloud-seven; it's full of life imageries and imaginations. If you're swimming in the ocean of love, try reading "Value of Love," it will sweeten up your day. If you want to talk about world events, "Soaring Bird of Bride" will lifts you higher and higher; and many, many more hot poems and prose, painted in colorful beauty of nature and intelligent design; all will brighten your every chosen moment. This artistic phantom and pigmented linguistic writing showcase, filled with parade of rhythms, sandwiched in fictional thrillers of words and stories, designed in captivating folklores of modern prose and poems are delicious! All ideas and knowledge, all messages in this poems are coated with powerful imaginations. The foundation this book of New Era Poems is built on is a concrete loaded with artwork heralding good feelings and otherwise lamenting wasteful intelligence providence bestowed in humans in the beginning of time in the form of family ties, bravery, friendship, love and choices. Reading these poems and prose will give you much doses of cheers, motivation, inspiration, elevation of issues for you to think about for your soul and spirit, while at the same time dishes out inciting, provoking educated political debates and awareness about the way we live. Folks, this is a new era book of poems for you to read and enjoy, just to name a few: "Wind and Breeze Colliding in My Shoes." Gliding on in the breeze of life I've seen many days. Sailing in the winds of life I storm with ease for nature to see. Storms have come my way, I've always won. I have waded through the highest peaks of storms, I have breezed through the mightiest storms man can endure, Fires of tribulation and temptations have come my way, I've stood the test of time with a gliding sense of ease. I've stumbled many a time, I have fallen many a time on the stage of life, The lessons I have learned keep me going this time around, I've dusted my bottom I got up and kept going. Numerous times I have hit the turbulence, Gliding, sliding and slipping, suffocating I feel at times. Breathe easy, watch your steps, I say many times. Wars have come my way, I survive. Famines have come my way, I survive. Hate has come my way, I survive. Deceits have come my way, I survive. Predicaments have come my way, I survive. Love has come my way and died, I survive. What else can people throw at me? I will just survive! Neglects have come my way, I survive I survive I survive! Victimizers have threatened my life at will, I survive, for I stand for truth. I survive cuz I passionately loathe hypocrites. Championing peace and love, I have conquered storms. Antagonists have seen me and taken to their heel. At the sight of crossness on my face hatred melts away! God's child I am, indeed! I will always overcome. Aggression wins, but that's not my way. Stubborn I stand against cheats and liars out there. For fair weather friends are but a scorns at best. I need no friends if they're not for real. I'd give you a mirror to see yourself and repent at once. I judge none, I Love all as long as my God lives, I fear no pains below my shoes. Intimidation and bigotry end in my smashing storms. The battle of wind and breeze in my shoes I employ. Displaying a smashing show as I glide in peace and joy. Until my legs and knees are too weak to hit the ride of life! Then I will call the wind to storm the way! The World Comes to Me. In my wild world of ecstasy, soundly asleep; Quite so fast asleep. Smoothly snoring and seductively at peace. The world comes to me, it is an expanding world. It pricks my ear lobs then I listen. See those 192 men and women, Your world leaders, Standing out there! 18 of them are threatening our lives With atomic bombs and dangerous weapons, so alarmingly. The others are arming themselves to their teeth with WMD. Who are they going to destroy? What do you think is their goal in this world? Saying to all well-meaning leaders in this world, Your concern is well taken, yet aggression runs amuck! You tell me about this growing danger in this world. See a sleepy and snooze head! The world turns and pulls my two eyelashes and says "What do you see sleepy, snoozy head? Hah! Hah! Hah! Hah! You are just ticklish. The world is getting disfigured but it continues expanding: Global warming, catastrophic earthquakes, hurricanes, desertification and more! The world slowly moves back and slams on my chest, Kaboom! Kaboom! It makes my heart tingle thinking about the Herculean waste out there. Sadness begins to dampen my bright, hopeful imagination as sensible ideals pack for port. Painfully, the world slams my head with a deafening smash. Suddenly my ears go ding, ding, Tingling, Tingling, Tingling! My eyes blare, my heart begins to pound. As the pressures on this world rise, my blood is running red hot. My head is now tickled again and again, and I begin to think, What roles are there for people like me to play? In what sense, or was it a dream? But dreams can be fantasies. This is real for its worth. The world leaders have lost their minds. Their losing control is being feared. Stop this madness folks! Let peace reign in the world, Just for once since its existence. We want Interactions with the human where there is only one race, should be the ORDER, the human race not arms race, where skills, color of skin, hair, eyes, Lips and wealth are not the issues. In this human race all hands should be on deck to fix, Not to destroy ALL with WMD. Tell the world leaders that living for peace, Love and harmony is the goal for the humane race right now!
