Everything hinges on loving God. Our relationships with each other are a reflection of our relationship with God. You cannot love God and despise or be careless with the people around you; He has placed them there for a season and a purpose.
I have learned the value of loving God more than I love my children. Even more than I love Rose. I have even learned to love God more than life itself. I believe that this is why I made it. I can love more effectively. I even love my enemies.
When I live a life of loving and trusting God, my steps are ordered; I can be obedient without doubt or question, and my faith has become greater. I have learned that I rely on Him rather than myself. This trust has allowed me to make it through the valley, through the terrible storm, through the knothole.

...; visiting hours with God would not end, but I would still be thirsty. In spite of my conclusion, he responded to my faith. Comforting me, God escorted my heart to an extraordinarily beautiful place. I was sitting on a shelf of ice and behind me was the roar of water. It was cold, I could tell from my surroundings, but I was not cold; I was perfectly comfortable. I looked and there was a huge, high waterfall. The water came down and splashed in a large pool beneath it and ran off in streams to a river. As the water splashed into the pool, the spray would immediately form beautiful crystals of various sizes like transparent snowflakes that would stick to the rocks, ice and vegetation. It was truly indescribable beauty, colors I had never before seen, shimmering and dancing in petal-like formation. I sat there in awe taking it all in. I leaned over and dove like a seal into the water which was crystal clear and perfectly pure, without any trace of chlorine or contaminant. Refreshed, I effortlessly jetted through the water like a porpoise taking in the sights. I glided swiftly along turning to the left and to the right exploring the environment. It was magnificent. The other creatures around me, large and small, darted and swam back and forth around me. Neither of us feared the other. After swimming and diving for what seemed like miles, I realized I had not come up for air; I did not need to. However, I broke the surface and leaped back onto my ice platform. I stood there watching the cascade from its great height. I could not see the top of the waterfalls but sensed that it came down from the throne of my Heavenly Father. It continued to roar down the side of the precipice and splash into the lake forming beautiful sparkling crystals. The morning sun lighted the room as I serenely lay on my bed caressing my lips with the oral swab. I was in perfect peace and my thirst was gone
