On a rainy day, with nothing to do, Lexie uses her imagination to create an imaginary friend to play with. She names her new friend Lolly, because his colorful appearance reminds her of lollipop flavors. Lolly shows Lexie that by using their imagination, they can go on all sorts of adventures, even though they can't play outside. What Can We Do Next? is a delightful new children's book that shows kids that they can use their imagination to conjure up their own fun, any time, any place. When you use your imagination, there is no limit to what can be done!

Lexie looked out the window at the raindrops bouncing off her swingset and sighed. “I can’t believe it’s raining today. What am I going to do stuck inside all day?”
“Wait ... I know! Mommy once told me that she had an imaginary friend when she was a little girl. They did all kinds of things together. Maybe if I use my imagination, I can create a friend of my own,” Lexie said to herself.
So Lexie decided to give it a try. She closed her eyes and imagined what her friend would look like.
When Lexie opened her eyes, there he was...her new friend, looking up and smiling at her. He was mostly blue, which was Lexie’s favorite color, and he was also small enough to fit in the palm of her hand.
He was a cute little fellow, and Lexie couldn’t wait to meet him. So she held out her hand, and her new friend jumped into it.
