"Matthew's Hero" is a story of a five year old boy, who because of his trusting nature, falls victim to an evil couple planning to harvest children for profit. Their plan was perfect, so they thought. They had planned for what the police would do in response to Matthew being reported missing, but they could have never planned for or prepared themselves for the person who brutally purposed to rescue Matthew. The only question that was asked by Matthew's Hero was, "how does it feel to be a victim?"
Shadows and Whispers

"What's wrong with his face!" The woman asks.
"Am I seeing that right?" Asks the woman, "or is that a shadow?" She reaches into the suitcase and moves Matthew's head to get a better look.
"Why does he have a black eye?" She exclaims. "His eye is swollen shut!"
"I didn't hit him!" Juan shouts in defense. "I didn't even look in the suitcase!" The woman takes the tape off of Matthew's mouth and hands.
"Who did this!" Demands the woman.
